The other side of I AM PC

With everything going on, I thought you would enjoy having a look at a vision Microsoft has for the future featuring electronic newspapers, transparent walls, real time translators, floor displays, digital shopping, electronic boarding cards, tactile displays....

This is a montage:

A retail perspective:

these clips come via istartedsomething.com;
where you will find a longer 5 minute video clip

Puts a new perspective on Microsoft's I Am PC strategy doesn't it?
Personally I'm a little disappointed that we don't have more speech recognition enhancements come down the pipe. Fascinating none the less.

cheers

I love the idea of an electronic newspaper. I first heard about some of these ideas in Neal Stephenson fiction. Specifically, The Diamond Age (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Diamond_Age) and Snow Crash (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Crash)

I am actually a PC - but I was struck by how Apple-like the handheld devices were in the video.
