Canadian Marketing Blog

Welcome to the CMA - Canadian Marketing Association - Blog. This Blog is an initiative of the CMA Digital Marketing Council. All marketing-related topics are fair game: branding, strategy, online, offline, marketing trends, technology, direct marketing, market research...and more.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our new home is now ready.

Quite a snappy new look for the Canadian Marketing Association Blog, don't you think? One could say we clean up real nice!

As you may know, since the end of May ( on the heels of 2006 National Convention in Montreal) we have been blogging. The home we were using during our "soft-launch" at blogger.com was always our temporary spot to get things going.

During the past three months, we have come a long way. Involvement has grown by word-of-mouth and our roster of contributors and the subjects, opinions and ideas they bring to the table are inspiring some great new conversations between marketers.

A huge thanks to Sandra Singer of the CMA for helping to make this happen. It would not have launched without her being the internal CMA blog champion. And, a big thanks to Mitch Joel and the team at Twist Image who helped put it all together, creating a leading example of where the internet is going. Kudos on a job well done.

For myself, it is really satisfying to see what was once (not too long ago) a nugget of an idea that has come to fruition. Something that has relevance and meaning for marketers not only in terms of it's take-away value, but also in terms of the ability for everyone to participate.

I can only imagine what the future holds for this little project that has only good things ahead.

The best part? You too can be a part of the success.

Thanks for the kind words. It really was the work of the entire team at Twist Image, and it was a true Honor for us to be a part of this magic and this new conversation.

I promised Sandra I would start posting more in this space. I really wanted others in or associated with the CMA to start their own conversations. Now that they are flowing, be sure that I am going to jump in the stream.

Wow!

I know blogs are supposed to be about the content versus the design, however this blog is *gorgeous* looking!

Bravo to Mitch and the gang at Twist Image. And three cheers for the CMA for providing an important new forum for dialogue. I am looking forward to having my musings presented in such style.

Very Slick.

For anyone who was iinvolved in re-lauching the CMA blog, you should stand tall and be proud. It's quite impressive.

Wow ... some great stylings to highlight the great content. It's good to see the CMA pushing the envelope in terms of design. I'll be interested to see the ongoing evolution of the design -- if readers can get used to the different conventions or if we're all already stuck in our ways :-)

In any case, kudos to the CMA for taking a bold step forward in the Cdn markerting space.
